What a nice thing to do I must say!
I heard on the radio this morning as I took my car to get new tires that Christian Bale paid a visit to the victims of the Aurora, CO shooting during a The Dark Knight Rises midnight screening. Although the media had portrayed the Batman star as a lunatic, the news this morning did actually make me like him a bit.
It was a horrible thing that happened that night in Aurora and it will be a sad moment in history. It was confirmed by hospital interim president that Christian Bale visited and met with seven of the patients who are being treated for their injuries. He spent about 2 1/2 hours at the hospital comforting the wounded victims.
Kudos Christian Bale!
