When asked, he said: “Absolutely.” “Wouldn’t mind.”
“I don’t think one of our players would be scared to come out. We got 25 guys, it’s a family, and our goal is to win a World Series. What your sexual orientation is, I don’t see how that affects the ultimate goal of our family.”

After a nerve-wracking fourth quarter, Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl XLVII title.
It was a tense moment with only a few minutes left to go with 34-29 score. Then, with less than a minut left, 49ers scored leaving a 34-31 score with .04 seconds left.
Early in the game, the Ravens were ahead with 22 points (28-6) until SF 49ers caught up after a power outage that halted the Raven’s momentum.
It was a great game overall – - and I’m glad that my team won!! Go Ravens!!! Final score: 34-31!!
Alright haters! What did you think about Beyonce’s non-lip-synch performance at the Super Bowl Half Time Show 2013? It’s the the best performance (in my opinion) but she did not lip-synch this time.

Talk about backlash!
Ever since Lance Armstrong admitted to doping in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, there has been continued backlash against the fake athlete.
Many previous supporters, including those in Hollywood, showed disappointment with the fallen sports star.
An Australian library posted a note that gave the titles of Armstrong’s books like “Lance Armstrong: Images of a Champion, “The Lance Armstrong Performance Program”, and “Lance Armstrong: World’s Greatest Champion”, saying that they are moving the books from Non-Fiction to Fiction. Ouch!
You know what I think would be better? If they renamed the books and left it as a Non-Fiction.
Here are the suggested titles:
“Lance Armstrong: Images of a Fake Champion”
“The Lance Armstrong Performance (Enhancing Drugs) Program”
“Lance Armstrong: World’s Greatest Cheat”

And so it goes. Lance Armstrong finally admits to doping and used performance-enhancing drugs during his career winning seven Tour de France titles which was later stripped off after a damning report by U.S. Anti-Doping Agency detailing Lance’s use of banned performance-enhancing substances and blood-doping practices. In addition, Armstrong has been banned from competition for live by the cycling’s international governing body.
Lance has denied for years that he used PED. Now, for the very first time, he opened up to Oprah Winfrey in an interview scheduled to air on OWN at 9:00 p.m. this Thursday. The two and a half hour interview held at Austin’s Four Seasons Hotel.
We are unclear about his reason to confess this time around. It could be because everything around him has failed.
Prior to his interview, it was reported that he was at the Livestrong Foundation, a charity he founded and turned into a global institution on the strength of his celebrity status as a cancer survivor. He apologized tearfully for the deceit and harm he brought to the foundation.

Here’s Oprah’s interview with CBS This Morning discussing the interview with Lance Armstrong.
For years, Lance Armstrong denied that he has ever doped while competing (and won) seven Tour de France titles. But since he has stopped fighting WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) and was stripped of his titles, there were rumors that he was finally ready to confess but the medium of confession had been unclear until now. Tests by the USADA showed no signs that the athlete used PED (performance-enhancing drugs) but many say that the test conducted by the USADA can be beat.
Oprah Winfrey (Queen of Talk) has snagged a 90-minute no-holds-barred interview with Lance Armstrong where it has been promised that the athlete will confess the real truth behind the allegations.
Note that Lance had denied use of PEDs all throughout “under oath”. His admittance of use may or may not result in charges placed against him.
So, the question is: “Why now?”
Could it be because he wants to participate in Triathlons but is prohibited by the WADA? Or is it to keep the remaining sponsors of a foundation he founded (Live Strong Foundation) which is believed to be valued at $100 million dollars?

Matt Jarvis is the third straight football player (after David Beckham and Freddie Ljungberg) to appear on the cover of UK’s Attitude magazine, and is also the latest to appeal for a gay footballer to come out, the Guardian reports:
In an interview, the winger said it was time that a gay footballer felt comfortable enough to come out. “It’s everyday life. It’s not something that’s going to be a shock,” he said. “I’m sure there are many footballers who are gay, but when they decide to actually come out and say it, it is a different story. It’s one that I’m sure they’ve thought about many times. But it’s a hard thing for them to do.” …
Jarvis told Attitude that he thought times had changed and an openly gay footballer would receive the support he needed. “There’d be support everywhere within the football community, whether it be players, fans or within the PFA [Professional Footballers' Association]. There would definitely be groups of people who would be supportive and help them through it,” he said.
Jarvis is a winger for Premier League club West Ham United.
