A predicament that surely none of us would want to be in.
After the news broke out about Kristen Stewart and her fling with director Rupert Sanders, she mentioned how sorry she was that it happened and told us that she really loves Rob Pattinson. This missing piece in this was her apology to Rupert Sanders’ wife Liberty Ross and her children.
Liberty has not said anything publicly except for a few tweets after learning of the “fling” where the last tweet was a simple “WOW” before deleting her account.
Sources now tell PerezHilton.com that Kristen intents to personally apologize to Rupert’s wife by writing her and her children a letter.
The source tells us:
“Kristen didn’t feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke. Instead, she’s going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions. She was thinking of including Liberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology – but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob she decided to concentrate on that first. Kristen feels she made a terribly naïve mistake and will do anything to make amends. The fact that Liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did.”
I must say that Liberty has been very calm about the matter and staying out of the public eye during a scandal such as this is probably the best thing.
Rupert on the other hand had issued his own apology by saying:
“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My Beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
I’m telling you guys, this is not over yet. Remember Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore? Let’s hope that both couples can work this out and really get through this.
Rob Pattinson had ironically discussed the issue of cheating when he talked with Vanity Fair back in April. This is what he said:
“There’s a thing I’ve never got: Thais, why do people cheat? I can understand the impulse. But not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long. I’m not the cassual-affair kind of guy. If I choose to be with someone, it’s because I really want it. When I have a relationship, I’m 100 percent into it.”
With that statement, I will say what Liberty said on her last tweet: “WOW!”
