Mean Girls? Sarah Jessica Parker shaded by Kim Catrall

This was very sad for me to hear.  I am a fan of SATC and I was really hoping for a Sex and the City 3 movie but we can just call that RIP SATC3 for now as it looks like the third possible installment to the successful SATC movies is not in the cards.

Kim Catrall (Samantha) posted on her Instagram account thanking the other casts of SATC for their “outpouring support” after finding out that her brother had passed.  However, she posted a separate, scathing post directed at her co-SATC star, Sarah Jessica Parker on Saturday saying that she doesn’t need SJP’s “love & support at this tragic time”.  (Post below)

In her post, she also pasted a link to a NY Post article from October of last year about the mean girls culture that has destroyed Sex and the City.

Upon reading the article, it states that Kim Catrall was “mean-girled” by Sarah Jessica Parker and the other casts for six years while doing the SATC series. The article went into detail as to how Kim Catrall was singled out and left out to dry.

I could hardly believe that Kim and Sarah were not even friends in real life because of how great they all portrayed their friendship in the series. The most scathing remark was in the details of the post where Kim says, “Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.” OUCH.

Could you actually believe that SJP is this mean? If you want to read the full NY Post article, read it here.

People were in shock. Therefore, ET interviewed SNL’s Molly Shanon who is currently co-starring with SJP in HBO’s Divorced and she has nothing but good things to say about Sarah Jessica Parker.

During an interview with ET, Sarah Jessica Parker said to ET, “If somebody in your life, whether you’re in touch with them or not, [is] suffering for any reason, it’s involuntary that you want to convey condolences or sadness or just let someone know you’re thinking about them.”

What is the real truth behind this? Who is telling the truth here?

It doesn’t really matter. I just hope that they can mend this strained relationship someday.
