Everyone is now pulling out of the promotion or showing of “The Interview” starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.
Even the stars themselves have declined to appear on any promotion for the movie which is prefaced on the assassination of the North Korean Dictator, Kim-Jong Un.
Hackers who claim responsibility for the leaked Sony documents are warning movie theaters that they will launch at 9/11-style attack on theaters that will show the film.
That is nothing to take lightly with the recent events when hackers exposed many private Sony emails and documents. It has gotten a lot of high-powered executives at Sony in trouble and will probably continue to spread as more documents are leaked.
The safety of movie goers is number one in my opinion. Do you think that theaters should not show the movie, “The Interview”? The threats may not happen but you know that someone, somewhere out there is a fanatic who will probably do something stupid just to prove a point.
