Surely, the GOP is trying to make the best pick for a VP candidate to run with Mitt Romney. It’s a tough one because no one seems to be a great fit at the moment and the wrong choice could cost Mitt Romney the presidency.
Dick Cheney however, offered his opinion regarding the 2008 election VP pick (Sarah Palin). It’s no secret that everybody agrees with him, it’s just that no one has said it publicly before.
Although he says it’s not personal, he did say it.
I like Governor Palin. I’ve met her. I know her. She [is an] attractive candidate. But based on her background, she’d only been governor for, what, two years. I don’t think she passed that test … of being ready to take over. And I think that was a mistake.
The interview will air tomorrow on ABC.
