Don’t we all wish we have the money to buy shares of Facebook on its initial public offering? Word on the street is that 537 million shares were traded even though the $38.00 IPO price ended up only earning .23 cents per share by the end of the day.
From someone who started a company from his dorm room, Mark Zuckerberg is one of those success stories that make us wonder if we could have started something like it.
There’s 1 billion registered users on Facebook and most of these people are in the application, day-in and day-out.
We’ll see where this one goes. I bet that most of the people who owns shares will sell their shares immediately to become instant millionaires. I was tempted to buy shares today but reluctantly didn’t.
It’s one to watch though.
